Deep Water is a series of hypertrophy programs created by Jon Andersen, with a focus on pushing the mental aspects of lifting and finding your true potential through what Jon describes as “portals” into deep water. These “portals” are found by increasing volume, decreasing rest, and eventually increasing rep counts to push beyond what you conceive as possible for yourself.

Deep Water is a program that is based on the philosophy of pushing yourself to where your body thinks it has had enough and then going beyond that.

The Deep Water includes a beginner, intermediate, and advanced training program, as well as dietary advice, lively anecdotes, and a more in-depth explanation of the reasoning behind creating such a difficult program. The beginner and intermediate programs are 6 weeks each, with a prescribed 4 days of lifting and 1 day of medium conditioning per week.
